Mining

A process of validating transactions and adding them to a blockchain ledger. In the context of Bitcoin, mining involves solving complex mathematical problems, and miners are rewarded with Bitcoin for solving these problems first. This process is called Proof-of-Work (PoW) and requires a significant amount of computational power and energy.
